The standard
The peak of careful moving
The name is a claim about method, so it is worth setting out what the method actually is. Six things, none of them glamorous, all of them the reason a move goes well or badly.
Scope on paper before you commit
Measured volume, crew, vehicle, packing depth, what cover applies and what the travel involves. If you are comparing firms, those are the lines to compare.
Loaded in unload order
Nothing goes on the vehicle in the order it leaves the house. It goes on so the unload comes off room by room, which is the difference between an afternoon and an evening.
Distance priced openly
Travel is one of four inputs rather than something folded into the volume. Keeping it visible is what makes two quotes genuinely comparable.
One point of responsibility
The person who surveys the job still owns it on the day. There is no handover to somebody who has never seen the property.
Nothing claimed that is not true
No trade-body logos, no award badges, no press quotes, no customer counts and no ratings. We will not display proof we cannot evidence.

Nationwide, stated honestly
We are a named firm rather than a branch network, and we would rather publish the regions we genuinely work than a page of two hundred town names implying a depot in each of them.
We collect across mainland Britain and deliver anywhere in it. What changes with distance is not whether we will take the job — it is the crewing, the running order, and whether it is realistically a one-day move. All of that is settled at survey and written into the quote.
Where local detail genuinely matters — a conservation street with nowhere to stand, a lift that will not pass a wardrobe, a lane with no passing place — we establish it for your address rather than generalising about your postcode.

Before you get in touch
Where are you based?
We work as a national firm rather than a branch on somebody's high street, and we would rather say that than claim a home town we do not have. Coverage is set out plainly on the coverage page: the regions we collect from, delivery anywhere in mainland Britain, and how distance is priced rather than hidden.
What does "Peak" mean — is it the Peak District?
It is the brand: the peak of the trade, the standard we hold ourselves to. We do work the Peak District and the Midlands, as we work everywhere else in Britain, but the name is about how a move is done rather than where we sit.
Do you survey every job?
Everything above a single room. Nothing here is quoted from a room count, because a room count tells you nothing about a staircase turn, a lift door width, or what is actually in the garage — and those are what decide the day.
Do you do long-distance moves?
A great deal of our work is exactly that — the length of the country, often with an overnight. They are crewed and planned as long moves from the start rather than treated as a local job with a drive on the end.
Can you store things between completions?
Yes — wrapped, inventoried and racked indoors, collected as part of the same move. Chains slip everywhere, and putting a load into store beats leaving it on a vehicle overnight.
