What we do

Household removals — houses, flats, single rooms — across the United Kingdom, plus office and small commercial moves, packing to whatever depth you want, containerised storage, long-distance and nationwide work, and removals into France, Spain, Italy and Portugal.

Where we are, honestly

"Peak" is a brand word — the top of the trade, the standard we hold ourselves to. It is not a town, and we do not have a high-street branch to name. We work nationwide and we would rather say that plainly than imply a local depot in every place we are willing to drive to.

The method, in five stages

Most moves that go wrong went wrong before the van arrived: somebody estimated the volume, or nobody established how the furniture was actually leaving the building. Both are avoidable in advance and neither is avoidable on the morning. So the work front-loads.

1. Survey and plan Somebody looks at the property and measures the volume properly. Access at both ends, the awkward pieces, and what you actually want packed.
2. Pack and protect Materials matched to the contents rather than to the room. Furniture wrapped, floors and frames covered, fragile things given what they need.
3. Load in order Nothing goes on in the order it comes out of the house. It goes on so the unload comes off room by room at the other end.
4. Transport, or store Straight through where the dates line up, or into wrapped and inventoried storage where they do not.
5. Set down and settle Unloaded room by room, furniture rebuilt, packing materials taken away with us when we leave.

What a quote is built on

Four inputs: the volume going, the access at both ends, how much packing you want done, and how far it travels. Keeping distance visible rather than averaging it into the volume is deliberate — it is what makes two quotes genuinely comparable, and it is the line a cheap headline number most often hides behind.

What is deliberately not on this site

There are no trade-body logos here, no award badges, no press quotes, no customer counts and no star ratings. That is a choice rather than an oversight.

Every one of those is trivially easy to fabricate and effectively impossible for you to verify, and a firm that displays unverifiable proof has told you something about how it treats its other claims. If any of it becomes true and evidenced, it will appear here with the evidence attached.

For the same reason we will not name a home town we do not have, will not promise a transit time we cannot stand behind, and will not take on a property without establishing that we can physically reach it.

Cover and responsibility

Goods in transit and storage cover are in place, with the usual conditions around owner-packed cartons and items of unusual value. Anything genuinely valuable should be declared at survey so the right arrangement is confirmed in writing before you book, rather than discovered in a claim.
